music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life-Berthold Auerbach . . .
I like to roam through Apple's ITune songs looking for songs that obviously appeal to me and in many cases are NOT in the mainstream of radio playing. If you are familiar with ITunes, then you will probably understand when I say that I tend toward the ITune's Singer/Songwriter section.
There are times when it's nice to just be able to shut out the world's events so I thought why not throw a change up and once in a while share a song that probably most haven't heard, yet is one that you might like if you knew of it. Hence, here is my first attempt at this.
The song I'm highlighting is from Five for Fighting, which is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Vladimir Ondrasik. Some of you know his music through two songs: his 2000 hit "Superman (It's Not Easy)" and his 2004 hit song "100 Years".
The song I'm highlighting is from his current album "Slice" and is called "The Dance". Click on the link below and it will open in your PC music player. I would add that I really like two other songs on "Slice" called "Note to the Unknown Solider" and "Chances".
Enjoy . . .
